Here we are on Monday, December 13th…. I’ve made it.
Today is the first of four remaining classes before my time at VFS and in EBM is officially over… It’s kind of a bitter sweet moment, I mean, I’m happy, but I’m sad, and I’m excited but I’m anxious.. I’m a bit all over the place to say the least, but I know everything will be back to normal when I’m decorating my Christmas tree with my mama on Friday ♥.
So for today, seeing as it is December 13th, I have decided that I will do a blog post for each of the “12 days of Christmas” and although I have not really made any choices on what kind of articles I’m going to write, I decided I’d start today with a quick recipe on how you can make your own home-made s’mores in the oven. So let’s get started then shall we
.
S’mores
Step 1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2. Put down a sheet of tin foil about three times the length of your graham cracker and about double the width.
Step 3. Put 16 mini marshmallows or alternatively, one regular sized marshmallow on top of the graham cracker.
Step 4. Add two pieces of your favorite chocolate towards the middle of the s’more.
Step 5. Top with a second graham cracker, and wrap in tinfoil.
Step 6. You can bake these directly on the rack if they are wrapped individually, but if you make a large batch, it’s better to do it in a pan (see below). Bake at 400 for about 5-8 minutes (bigger marshmallows take a bit more time) and…
Step 7. …Indulge!
If you wanna make this for a large group of people, the easiest solution I’ve found is to lay 12 graham crackers out in a baking pan, top them with a marshmallow and bake that for about 5-6 minutes, until the tops are golden brown. Then take it out of the oven, add the chocolate on top and finish it off with the graham cracker.
After that you can bake it again for a bit, but be careful not to let them explode!
Well that’s it for today, look forward to a super sappy post tomorrow and wednesday, and probably on Thursday as well.
Have a great week ya’ll!
Peace&Love.
P.♥
