Compendium 3 : Day 1 : Team Fish Hook

Howdy ya’ll!

Here is the first of my many posts about my work on the Compendium Films! Enjoy!

First we had a lovely breakfast with a variety of breads, scones and bagels donated by Cobs bread, accompanied by your toast favorites : strawberry and raspberry jam, peanut butter, cream cheese and my favorite.. bananas! There was also a veggie tray and tons of granola bars — these boys did some great work grocery shopping!

Orange Draaank

Here you can see one of the producers, a Mr. Jamie Chapman (follow him : @apuffyshirt) stirring the orange drank in the big yellow vat provided by Ellie & McDonalds.

Since I never seem to tell people when I’m taking pictures of them, I don’t have the best pictures of the other co-producers Blake Johnson and Sam Pradinuk (being filmed by my amigo, and expert documentarian Ian Berg), but here they are.  Charming gentlemen in their lovely suits.

And finally a photo of my love, Samantha Green! She’s a TA for EBM, as well as an awesome photographer who’s starting her own business! Check out her prices and her blog here!

Onto the lunch then? The boys had me prepare burgers and hotdogs as well as all the fixins’ you could want!

Having some vegetarians in the house, I wanted to make sure there was plenty of veggies they could make sandwiches out of, so I had chopped white onions, sliced red onions (I kept wanting to call them Purple Onions.. thanks a lot Mason) and fried white onions. As well as tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and cheese!

Above you can also see my salad — stay tuned for a step by step in a later post.

Then of course, it was time for… dessert, and I went with my staple — cupcakes!

The boys had asked me to make sandwiches for supper, and I do have photos of those, but stay tuned to a later post where I show ya’ll all three days of sandwich making — and my fancy sandwich menu!

The main reason I was excited for these little jobs was because I wanted to build up my portfolio and show all of the stuff that I can do, but it also gave me a chance to excersize my cooking creativity, and I had such a blast! Thanks again to all of the teams!

Well that’s it for this post, have a great day ya’ll!

Peace&Love.
