Bonjour mes amours!
Happy Monday!
Continuing with my trend of working on my project, I’ve decided to take a bit of a step in another direction and share my friend Ian’s video blog with you guys.
For those of you who don’t know what a #365 project is, I suggest you google it.
No really. It’s the best way to find out what it is because while my description of “blogging something new every day for a year.” some people have taken this and turned it into something completely captivating. Ian started his as a vlog to show people a glimpse of his daily life when working at a Film School in Vancouver. He’s since “internet-met” a lady named Esther Boer who is currently living in the Netherlands and who every day takes a clothespin and turns it into something new. Seriously. That’s freaken amazing. I had never imagined finding more than 10 uses for a clothespin, let alone 365. Super impressive stuff, I suggest you check it out today!
Look at that thing! It’s amazing! I’d love to make a couple of these for my nieces and nephews for Christmas
But before checking out her blog, please watch Ian’s videos for days 5 and 25! I mean, I’d recommend watching all of them but those in particular have a focus on yours truly — I even have a cameo in Day 25!
Also — as a side note, it appears I can no longer attach videos in this template, so I may be switching back to the original shortly, or trying to find a solution to remedy this. Thanks for your patience!
Ian is always looking for suggestions for new themes for his vlog and appreciates comments and shares if possible
and you know my motto, scratch a back and get it in return
.
Other friends of mine who are currently working on 365 projects include my incredibly talented friend Samantha Green, and Ian’s lovely girlfriend Leeanne Page. They’re both focusing on photography for their projects and it’s been quite a journey through the seasons with each of them
.

She’s back in Nova Scotia now and it looks beautiful!!
Well I think that’s about all of the people I know personally (well and Esther haha) who are doing 365 projects, but I’m always on the look out for new and interesting projects, and this was one I found particularly captivating : 365 tshirts.
I’ve always wanted to design my own tshirts, but this is taking it to a whole new level! The designs are unique and clever, and I really enjoyed them. And at only $19, I might have to get one for myself!
Andrew Menzies — this shirt is for you.
I go back and forth as to whether or not I want to do a 365 project when I start traveling. The main thing that keeps stopping me is the fact that I may not always have access to internet in the remote areas I want to visit. I guess I’ll have to figure that out when the time comes, but who knows, maybe there’s some way for me to work it into the concept of my show? Hmhmhm?
Well that’s about it for my ramblings for today, I hope you enjoyed this post and that it inspired you to check out some other 365 projects that people are working on. If you have any suggestions for other 365 projects for me to check out, please leave me a message in the comment section below
Peace&Love.

Ps. Now that I’ve written the post, I remembered the other point I wanted to make about these projects. The way they bring people together. For Esther and Ian to find each other using only a hashtag through the internet, that’s some pretty powerful stuff. I love the internet and social media! wheeeeee!
