The Map.

Halloo mon vieux! (Flavia reference. Anyone?)

Hope you had a lovely few days, I know I sure did.  I celebrated my 23rd birthday on January 19th by relishing in some of my favorite things (like using the word relishing). I’ll have a post about that coming shortly once I upload all of my pictures but for now (inspired by MVS) I bring you my world map!

My world map is the path I hope to take and the countries I hope to visit on my first journey around the world.  I hope to do a similar journey in the years to come starting in Australia/New Zealand working my way through Africa, South America (Jen in Peru!!!) and Central America.  I might not be able to hit up every continent before I turn 25, but I’m gonna put a pretty nice dent into it this time around.

My main goal right now is to find low-cost / free accommodations along the way so that I can afford to do as much as possible everywhere I go.  The main reason for such a long trip is so that I can film two seasons of what I hope to be a successful travel series ;) . At the very least I’ll have two seasons of a self-hosted and produced show to start my portfolio with and I can go from there.

So without further ado, I bring you my world map in the order I hope to go in (without giving away my entire schedule for stalker purposes ;) haha)

Nova Scotia & New Brunswick  - Visiting Halifax and Moncton and spending some time with Sam & Tony, Denise & Bruce, Stephen and Josee! Talk about a lucky gal!

England – Moving in with Wayne which will surely end in sitcom-y results. Perhaps even like Ab Fab? I’m already Patsy! Climbing Snowdon with Liam.  Having tea and sleepovers with Chelsea Menzies.  (Doing anything Louise Lee suggests also.)

France – Checking out Disneyland Paris with Caroline Chibaudel!

Italy -

Netherlands -

Ireland -

Scotland -

Wales – Here is where I’ll actually be climbing Snowdon with Liam!

Morocco -

Spain – Christmas with Wayne’s parents! Or just a stop in on the way back from Morocco!

Greece -

Lebanon – Check out the Jeitta Grotto and Sky Bar with the one and only Ehab!

India – Traveling around India with Darshan :) Spending Holi together as well!

Thailand -

Cambodia -

Vietnam – Finding Janet’s family — hopefully she’ll be there around the same time!

Laos -

Hong Kong -

China -

South Korea – Eating all sorts of crazy food with Q !

Japan -

Vancouver – Couch surfing for a week. Menzies & Green. Chez Martin. Woolsey & Sung. Van Straaten & Goulet.  It’s gonna be a great week.

Home – back into my big purple room to save money to take the boys to Disneyland and then it’s back to Vancouver to get back to my life and where I belong. ♥

Well that’s it for my list.  As you can see, a whole lot of it is BLANK! A big part of that is because I haven’t met all of the amazing people I need to meet yet.  I’m hoping to spread the message of networking and see if I can use that to get myself around.  Obviously there are some safety concerns with meeting people online, but I’m hoping to meet friends of friends, use couch surfing and any other safe alternatives I can find.  Any suggestions? Leave me a comment below.

Well that’s it for me tonight.  I’m off to try and sleep — although after my 5 hour nap today it might be a problem haha.

Peace&Love.

P.♥

  1. Incredible! I used to get excited just by the thought of taking a new route to the mall. What about that program where you can rent a couch to help fill in your blanks? Couch surfing? Good luck!!

I’m definitely gonna be looking into couchsurfing! I want to go to the “meet-ups” they have in Canada and meet some people there and then go from there :)
