Compendium is the first school wide project, bringing together students from every department at VFS to creative a film and interactive property for the iPad and Android tablets. The EBM students are tasked with sourcing public domain content, and then seeing the entire production process through to completion from wardrobe and set decoration, to post production supervision, and more. This first interpretation of the project was a combination of 5 films and interactive properties based on HP Lovecraft tales, using a variety of different styles and methods to tell these classic tales. The film, the Call of C’Thulhu, was among 4 of the films who won the Brown Jenkin award at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland, Oregon.
